Having something to offer other people when meeting

This works in two ways: First, it can get people to pick you up. Second, it gives you the leverage to approach others. Right now, you should be careful to be someone that people do because you have something they want, rather than be around you for your business. The only thing you have to offer, it must just be a springboard for meeting people.

There are tons of examples:

If you're good at something, and has a reputation for good, so people will come to you for advice. For example, you could be one of the best people to rock climbing gym, and if it did not come away from people who clues. Maybe you're a good person to come help on a particular class, or are you good at fixing computers.

Or you can be the best player in tennis is played on the fields so people are willing to go against you.

If you're a good artist you can join the club and to provide services, such as the voluntary association to design posters for an evening pub.

You can have access to something or other as useful. Since you're the only one with a car, or if you have a nice apartment with great television that everyone carries less, or if you have a cottage, or if you have a laptop with great movies you can see with people classes, or if you have the links to access the facilities for free, or if you know a lot of people of other fun, unique or cute or you have an adorable dog that other people want pets.
